Susanne serves as the CEO of S4i Systems, Inc. dba SMRTR, and has over 20 years in the technology industry in various operational, sales, and marketing roles. She has worked with organizations ranging from startups to large consulting firms, facilitating organizational transformation by aligning people and processes with the organization’s strategic initiatives and goals. Susanne has spent the last four years as CEO and partner of SMRTR, defining the organization’s industry focus and aligning sales, marketing, product development, and professional services to execute successfully against the organization’s objectives. This has resulted in a 67% increase in revenue and a 600% increase in EBITDA. Susanne has a degree in Marketing and Economics, a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of San Francisco, and an Executive MBA from Daniels College of Business (DU).

Jim Van Hecke, President and Document Management Evangelist

Jim is the vision, co-designer, and marketing force behind DASH DDX, the ERP-integrated document management software used by hundreds of manufacturing and distribution enterprises throughout North America. Jim offers years of experience in the manufacturing world as a go-to document management guru. He can help you identify what is possible, what is practical, and what to look for when tackling these issues in your company. Together with his wife Dyanne, Jim is the father of two, the grandpa of two, and a devoted family guy. In his spare time, he likes making noise with his Fender Stratocaster. If you hear a Strat “Quack,” that would be Jim.

Steve Bayliss, Vice President Of R&D, Music Composer, and Chief Officer Of Knowing Stuff

As the go-to guru of software design, application development, and programming, Steve is in charge of building and developing DASH products. Translated, that means wrestling with the truly frustrating, mysterious, and downright weird problems that go hand in hand with development and support. Problem-solving is what makes Steve want to get up in the morning. It also makes him want to pull his hair out, which, as you can see, he’s been quite efficient at over the years. Steve likens a good day in R&D to reaching the conclusion of a twisted, fascinating mystery novel. An early stint doing hard labor in the greenhouse industry taught Steve a strong work ethic and clarified that software development was not just a job, but a true passion.

Ever the sleuth, Steve keeps up with the endless advances in the software industry. Composing electronic music feeds his creative side while offering a fulfilling way to stay on top of technology, fun hacks and gotta-have new hardware.
